Young Trustees 3rd Annual Chili Cook Off! Come try over 30 different chili recipes/samples while watching the away Kansas State @ Texas game on a 15 ft jumbo tron at Blue Earth Plaza. All proceeds and prize money are donated across several non-profits in the Manhattan area. Last year over $10,000 was given away to 36 different non-profit orgranizations.
100% of all Chili Cook-off proceeds will go to local non-profits. The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation’s Young Trustees have organized this family friendly event as a way for businesses and citizens to gather in support of our local non-profits.
Your participation as a sponsor, competitor or by purchasing a ticket allows our organization to funnel thousands of dollars directly back into Manhattan’s needs. We are proud of this opportunity and thank you for participating in the 2019 Chili Cook-off!

In 2017, more than $10,000 was raised and 36 nonprofit organizations received a donation. For 2018, the Young Trustees raised $11,025 to support 43 nonprofit organizations in the Manhattan area. This event is so special to us because it allows us to be directly transparent in our fundraising to benefit our community. Our impact is continuing to grow, which makes us so excited to see how this event will benefit even more nonprofit businesses of Manhattan this year!

With every ticket bought, 50% of the money goes to a non-profit of your choosing.
The Young Trustees decided to give a minimum of $100 to every organization even if they just had a single ticket sold in their name!
With tons of activities to chose from, there is something for everyone at our event. Come root on the K-State football team with fellow Manhattenites and you enjoy some chili, drinks, and live entertainment all while supporting local business and non-profits!
